Default starter box brands and voltage 1/8 buggy

I havn't bought a starter box in a couple of years.
I just picked up an XB8 and just have to drop it on a NEW box:-)

what are the best ones out there ?

12 volt gel cell?

2 550 motors?

1 750 motor?

2 gp3300 packs with the 750 motor?

the one i have now with a 750 motor and 12 volt is OK but the wheel is a large diameter and must be aligned perfect or the wheel will touch the chassis.
ON my mugen with fioroni turbo clutch I had to dremel the chassis a touch to get a good start every time.

my new XB8 chassis is not going to be in the same room with the dremel.LOL!

Look for the mugen starter box, uses two motors and a smaller diameter starter wheel. I too bought it to use it with my fioroni sliding clutch, I have a chrome top ofna box and the wheel was too large to reach the flywheel.

The racers on sgrid rave about this box, says it'll start anything. Uses two stick packs for power, gel cell will not work. It's extremely small and lightweight. I haven't had decent weather yet to fire up a motor with it though.
