Default Questions about Weight Distribution

Hey all. I recently got caught up in the science (if you call it that) of balancing an RC vehicles weight onto the four wheels. I've got a few questions hopefully I can get some help on.

1. I've heard the statement "if you're corner weights are 50%, the car will handle a mirror left and right hand turn the same", is this true even if the Left-Right balance is off?

2. If corner weight is set and is 50/50 with the preload on all four shocks different but equal weight on all wheels, how does this affect rough terrain handling?

3. I would ASSUME that corner weight doesn't affect how the vehicle flies in the air. (As in there is no jump and suspension preload, just a drop off) And to correct any left to right/front to back tendencies, weight would have to be moved in the chassis?
