Why do you want to know? Kv rated motors don't relate to motors rated in turns. The number of turns in a motor rate at a certain Kv can vary from one brand to another.

What they are trying to say, is that it doesn't really work like that. The 4 pole 3800kv doesn't really correspond to conventional turn ratings.

Sidewinder SCT combo includes:
• Sidewinder SCT Edition ESC
• Neu-Castle 1410 1y 3800 kv motor
• CC Blower fan shroud for 36mm motors

1y = 1 turn
This is a 4 pole motor that's a little bit longer than a standard 540 can, so as has been said, turns do not mean anything and can't be compared to 540 stock/mod motors.

Castle motors are also slotless and have different magnet designs. For 2 pole I would say the 4600 is a lot like a brushed 13x3 and a 5700 is a lot like a 11x3. The 4 pole motors don't get as hot but is say a 3800 is like a 14x1 more torque but a little less rpm...gear it up a little and you have more torque and the same top speed.

this 1410 motor is a 540 can same size just way bigger rotor in it it has the same power as a 550 5.5t motor. I know i have both. I like the smaller motor better because its 2.3oz lighter over my 550.

A 13.5 is ~3300 Kv so the 1410 (3800 Kv) is like a 11.5 turn motor
So no, it would not be fair to run this motor against a standard 13.5 motor

Y stands for the configuration of the windings not how many there are. There is Y wind and delta windings. I know that the KV is a more accurate way to tell motor speed but I still would like to know the number of turns just cause. I don't know why castle is so tight lipped about it.
