exotek transmission shims are cheaper but I will keep using rcrd the guy made it simple and exotek copied his design by the looks of it. I have 4 sets of them and he even gives you a sticker, support the little guy I say.

For those drivers that have the pleasure to race this truck at this time I have a question for you.

My LHS has an indoor carpet track and will allow us to race this truck but what size motor do you think will work for this truck a 13.5 be enough or not enough?

Depends on the class rules, is it a stock or mod class?

Stock would depend on their "stock rules"
Mod - I would run a 13.5 or maybe even a 10.5 depending on the traction, but on carpet you may need a lil more motor to keep up... The truck won't be heavy so it also won't take a ton of motor... Try a 13.5 for starters if you need more go up the ladder!

This is gonna be a great truck, can't wait to get on the track with it!

A shame RCRD doesn't ship international.. I will have to get Exotek myself. (if that is the case)

While I was ordering some parts for my 22 I asked my LHS the expected arrival date of the 22SCT and the answer was interesting in they don't expect to see it until late September

Hey here's a quick question and I should just look at the manual - are all the bearings the same on thisbe SCT as the 22T? Going to order up some spares.

Yes the 22 family shares all the same bearings throughout the car.

I really don't think it's going to be a long delay. Heck they waited until the trucks were actually on the boat over here to even officially announce that they indeed existed and were going to come out with the 22SCT in hopes to avoid that type of situation. A week longer tops is my guess.
