Also, I finally got all the parts for my 2.0 shock rebuild (x-ring and spacer kits), as well as the new shafts. Holy cow are these nice and smooth! Also, after all day of practice NO LEAKING! I'm so happy
You would be ok trying the new parts with Exotek rack. If you have any problems PM me and I can try to help you out with them.

I know they tested it with the new 22 2.0 and had no issues.

Got a question...All the talk about being able to achieve 0 bump steer with the 2.0 front end parts has caused me to wonder. Has anyone running the Exoteck steering rack noticed a bump steer problem using either the 2.0 front end parts or the original front end parts? If so, what did you do to correct it? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

Default Ride Height

How is everyone measuring their ride height? Dropping or bottoming out the chassis and then releasing?

Anything other than dropping is resulting in a much lower front end for me. Have checked for binding and everything is nice and free.

Thanks!

I just drop my horizontally from about a foot and measure carefully after. I do this a few times to make sure I get it right. But I'm also running a 26mm ride height front and back. I think most run it higher.

So just to double check when we use the new 2.0 hubs, spindles, caster blocks and steering rack we no longer need to shim the tranny 1mm ? (Rear motor)

Thanks in advance

I was not running them on my lastest MM setup. Did not feel I needed to do that with that setup.

Has anyone posted any good set-ups for medium high bite clay for the 22sct with the 2.0 upgrades? I just ordered up all of the suspension upgrades and would like to have a good base line set-up to start with. I'm currently running MM but thinking about going back to rear motor to get more rear traction. Will I have more steering if I go back to the rear motor with the 2.0 upgrades.
Thanks

I just converted my SCT to mid-motor and and was kind of leery about how big of a shock position and spring change I had to make. Independently ended up with all the same shock locations and one step lighter on springs front and back vs Casper's setup, so I guess I wasn't too far off!

Couple of questions. New to 2wd sct. For the front pivot block, do you need to get a new(TLR1065 or 234008) front brace to run the buggy pivot block? Or can you use the one that says 30* that comes with the SCT?

Also, a general tuning question, what is the difference between running 30* of kickup and 0* hubs vs. 25* kickup and 5* hubs? Obviously both have a total of 30* kickup, but does one handle differently than the other?

Thanks for the help

Not yet. I just got my 22 2.0 and am building it mid-motor. Want to see how they run to see if I need one or two!

I got the mid-motor shorty battery kit. Fits great and super fast delivery!!!
