Do you run MM at OCRC or just the sugar tracks?

He told me he ran it at OCRC but you may want to wait for him to confirm that.

I ran this setup at Hot Rod for the JBRL finals (car was point on) Track conditions are dry blue groove type (not surgar) with temps warm so traction was good. I then ran it the other night at OCRC and truck was really good. A little sketchy at the end of the straight away but amazing everywhere else. I ran without sauce in the rear which is how I normally race the truck so that should help. I will be racing it tomorrow night but compared my lap times in practice with the previous race night and I was well on pace in practice. OCRC grip came up fast from the rebuild. Both truck and track were in great shape. I want to point out this setup was based off a great starting point I got from Travis Brock who is producing some great setups lately! I took his RM setup added the 2.0 front end parts and made it into a MM setup with some tweaks. Also the Rocket-RC MM Brass pivot block is awesome.

Default MM

I have been running a similar mm setup (wheelers mm base setup) with a couple tweaks ( 3.5 hrc, 2mm limiters) on low to med traction outdoor track and for me it is hands down the best this sc has ever been. it turns and has more forward bite than the rear motor 22sct ever had, best jumping sc and most important its very consistent and has No lead making it perfect for 17.5

Casper thanks for the MM set up, I have a few ? though. Why are you running the 4 hold pistons, I thought 2 hole was all the rage now a days......lol I know you have a reason just curious as to what it might be.
second, did you have to dremel your front arms like some are saying you have to do in order to run the new 2.0 parts up front.
Thanks again.

That is what Travis Brock has been running. The 2 hole stuff seems to work better RM and the MM guys have been running 2 hole and 4 hole setups from what I hear.

I did not dremel a thing. Yes the steering link gets close to the shock but I looked at it and I don't see any issue for concern so I did not mod anything.

Yes they do. And none of my cars are near min weight. All are a little on the porky side. I run mod though weight is not a big concern for me. If I was running stock I would most likely be more worried about weight. That is not to say I add weight willy nilly but I also have not gone to extremems to take out weight with titaium all over and as little alum as possible type ideas.

I just noticed that too. Going for $249 on ebay. Very tempted to buy one. I would've done it already if I didn't just buy a 22 2.0 buggy.

Casper did you raise the trans. on your new mm setup? Can you post a pic of your esc battery setup? I just wanna see how you have them mounted in the car.
Thanks
