Looking for a good outdoor setup. Ran the stock setup yesterday and the truck just didnt feel "in" the track. On power was loose with a 17.5. I had to be easy on power. Also I couldnt seem to keep the front end down on the jumps. I typically backside all the jumps but I kept floating the nose yesterday even after adding 1.25oz. if lead in front of the body posts..
Very flustrated with the truck after yesterdays performance. Normally a contender for the win but I barley made the a-main and was about a lap and half off. 40 sec lap times.. SO I was way off.
Also track was loosely packed clay. My 22 buggy had great traction but the 22 SCT was JUNK!
Thanks,

Thanks,
When I raced my truck for the first time I ran box setup and was lapped horribly. I also am used to be near the front of the pack. I found this setup and followed it to a t.
Tweaks I did not in setup sheet.
4.5 toe block
2oz. In front of rear tower
3 turns out on front shock bottom mount
1.5 turns out on rear shock bottom mount
Front shock piston 55 30# oil
Read shock piston 54 27.5# oil
Front green spring
Rear truck white spring
Next race I was a second off the leader at the finish.
Extremely lose and bumpy track conditions.
Hope this helps!

This is addressed to anyone with real experience with the TLR Racing Chassis Dirt Cover, TLR item #4142. I am considering getting one, but don't want to waste money if it won't fit. I have a 22SCT with a Hot Racing Carbon Fiber Battery Hold Down system installed. Is anyone using the dirt cover over the HR carbon fiber battery hold down, or any other similar carbon fiber battery hold down with posts and thumb screws? If so, does the dirt cover fit without modification?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
