by expo, does the truck have a more aggressive feeling or a more relaxed feeling. and shouldn't this mod give a little more throw?

I have the ft associated in mine and liked it over the stock 22 clutch. There is more pad to grab in the associated than the stock. I felt you really had to crank down on the 22 clutch to get it to grab sooner.

I honestly have not put a ton of thought into it. I think Ryan said it would calm down inital steerin input. It should not effect overall throw but you should adjust that on the radio anyway to get to lock.

This is not a big change guys!

i think that stock is fine, but I am thinking of trying out a Associated Factory Team clutch set, the VTS-4 or whatever its called.

Thanks for the input. I know this isnt an Avid thread but wanted to get input on people who had tried it on the sct.

Yes the early video that track was soaked and mud as it was new in the winter.
Now this track is hard packed and slick. Typically they will water it one time and not again for a while and its a dust bowl in there.
Check out this months new layout it is a very high flow fun track.

He was running stock sct
Let me guess - savox and spektrum ???

I almost made it to the ohio midwest champs but couldn't break free. A few from our local track made the podium - that was pretty cool.
It's great to here your son is doing so well in 2wd.
Get a BEC and you can run whatever servo you want :-)

3100 rcvr or the $10 Orange DSM2 solves the savox/specktrum problem.
