I just called HH support, they said the caps are on backorder they'll be back in mid-january.
but they are shipping them as soon as they get them in for me,
one of my LHS' may have a set. I just want to get this thing built!!!!
I should have asked if they could send the 22RTR caps*

I called my LHS, and he has a bleeder cap set in stock, he put it behind the counter for me!
now I have to fork over 18 bucks for shocks caps,
EDIT: I went to my LHS, showed him the defective cap, he handed me a set of new caps and I am going to bring the one horizon sends in the coming weeks.
he also had Exotek 1mm shims, so now I have the joy of tearing it apart to them in!
A big thanks to BTRC for supporting me.

I ran the new setup on a track similar to the one Losi57 is describing... just slightly larger. I know he runs mod; I run 17.5 blinky. A lot of us in this class have been running Megabites.

Compared to my usual set-up, which isn't too different from the kit set-up (I run rear hubs full forward; rear shocks more reclined), I felt like the new setup didn't have as much grip. I've got two trucks, so I was able to do a side-by-side comparison. Raising the ride height about 1 mm seemed to help.

Couple caveats: The track was REALLY dusty. And there were two things from the new setup that I didn't do -- I didn't have the gold washers to adjust the steering ball cup, and I didn't use sway bars, since traction was hard to find.

Also not 100% sure if I had the battery in the right location... I normally run the battery tray full forward. With the new setup, I moved it to the next location back. I wasn't sure if it belonged there, or back TWO positions from full forward.

Cool. You outta get these in the hands of some of the 1/8 scalers running at the psycho nitro blast. Seems like a great match!

2 positions back. Basically you want it with one battery foam between the battery and the tower.
