when you replace them make sure to clean out ALL of the gear shavings from the stripped set. then put your slipper back to stock setting and tighten/ loosen accordingly to what you desire for your track. That should be the only reason for idler gear failures.

I need to mess with my weights when running 17.5 - I still run the same setup as mod - big battery, 1.5 oz behind battery, .5 oz behind servo.

Where are you running the shorty? Forward, middle, back???

Running it about 1.5 inches forward and zero weight in the truck.

22T uses different spindles but you can use any of the buggy spindles. Buggies come in 2mm and in-line for your tuning needs.

@Scott, thanks for starting the thread and most of all... Keeping the first post alive! Cya at WCRC or OCRC soon.
Wow Kuya you picked one up! Awesome, can't wait to see you at the track and talk setup! Cuda seems to really have his truck working well, so if you see him there, he's a pretty good person to bounce ideas off of. Not this weekend, but I'll probably be there the following weekend.

Proof positive that even if you're an elf driving an RC car home from Santa's Workshop after a few suds, you shouldn't drink and drive!

Casper, time to edit that signature, you're not driving a XXX-sct anymore

I put the sway bar kits on the car yesterday and was surprised how much better it was with them on.
Now to start playing with some different front and rear springs and oils to see what does what.
