Fish tail is the rear end, when it goes back and forth like a fishie.

Yes we also call that a Tank Slapper.

I think we are getting off topic here

Anybody switch from a standard size lipo to a shorty? What changes did you make to accommodate the weight transfer?

I did but only for running this as a mid motor. I was not happy with my results running mid-motor as I have switched back to rear configuration. Many people are adding weight which tells me a shorty in rear configuration would be counterproductive.

I switched from shorty to standard. Like the standard better. This truck seems to really like the extra weight.

so how much run time are you getting ?
I honestly can't say. I don't personally have a 22SCT, but on my 17.5 Touring Car I get about 15 minutes before I need to charge. My 22 Buggy I get similar but I'm running a 10.5 in it. I would think that my TC would draw a little more mAh out of the pack since I'm probably running a little higher RPM than a SCT, but I can't answer that for certain.

Yeah, they go down thru the front pivot and lock into that groove on the hinge pin.

I found it on the directions.... I hope I have them @ home. Is it the same set screw that adjusts the droop on the Ten-SCTE??? If so I have a whole bunch of them. I vote for color manuals!!! LOL

You need an M3x5mm set screw, the scte droop screws are 10-32x3/8"

What is a good fighting weight for this truck, I hear people adding/taking/moving weight around.

Looks like you are mod so you can add more then I do with stock.

I'm at 7g on the tranny, aluminum front and rear ball stud mounts/bulkheads, and the 25 brass kick shim. I'm going to add the buggy aluminum front pivot here soon for just a little more front weight. Running a full size battery and 13.5 motor I feel I have enough rear bite right now with just 7g TLR weight. I have tried adding a little more and didn't notice much change. If I run a shorty I come in just under ROAR minimum weight and have to add some more. Then I do add to the rear for more forward bite.
