some pics of mine.

AE VTS clutch working great. you'll need the AE clutch spring and spacer too.

U will have to modify the spur ger cover. I cut it out and used the inner bead of a used tire to add to the depth. As seen on my 22. Stock cover wont fit.

you should be fine to do that, just wait for the paint to completely dry before you clean it again
I clean my windows with alcohol after running and it hasnt messed with the paint

how are you guys running your wires off the motors?

I soldered a buddys system up for him last night and I had to run the wires backwards away from the gearing to make sure it all fit, which I hate doing

dropping my powerplant in tomorrow

Unfortunately I haven't gotten any swaybars yet. I'm hoping one of the tracks I go to or my LHS will have them this week so I can try them out. I did get a chance to run Casper's Truck for a battery pack at OCRC on Sunday. He has them on his truck and it felt much more planted than my truck does. I made some changes to mine and it was closer, but still not as planted as his. I have a feeling the Swaybars are the biggest reason why. I'll let you know once I get a chance to run the swaybars though.

OCRC posted they got some sets. Not sure if they sold out yet or not though.

They pack better on big jumps. Less bottoming out.

Who is everyone Mike? I haven't had an issue with mine.... I only know of 2 of the guys that have been having issues with the idlers, wonder if its because they are running like 6.5's in their trucks. I've just got a 10.5 in mine with a little bit of boost for the top end and haven't had a lick of trouble.

Wait wait, they both mentioned their slippers are basically locked tho, mine isn't near that tight. Bet that's why they are killing idlers....no way to dissipate the shock of a hard landing thru the slipper and its taking out the weakest gear in the transmission?!?
