Guys

Has anyone had a use for most of the 22SCT Support kit, Im finding that the stock setup is working great and wondering if I should save myself $40 and just buy some new front/rear A Arms.

It comes with different springs too. I picked it up, a good selection of parts.

I've had it with the ballcups, switching to a captured ball end. Nothing but trouble today.

I have used the springs and 5* caster blocks as well. Gives you not only spare parts but tuning options as well.

What does adding bump steer do. My buggy has 1mm. Its on there right now just because it came like that when I bought it used. I like the way both vehicles handle but wondering what it does.

Thanks

I have a decent setup on my 22 SCT you can try

Front: 40 wt oil, 55 piston, black spring, no limiters
Outside on arm, middle on tower
1-A camber link, 2mm spacer inside
30 degree kick, 0 deg caster blocks, spindles down
Sway bar installed (not sure what size). Custom until TLR bars are available
30mm ride height, -1 degree camber, 0 degree toe in

Rear
Mid motor, 3.0 HRC block, 1 degree anti squat
32.5 wt, 55 piston, 3mm limiters, buggy yellow spring
2nd hole on tower, outside on arm
1-E camber link, 2mm inside, 1mm outside
Hubs middle wheelbase
Stock wheel hex
29mm ride height, -2 degree camber
Mid motor brass weight 50 gr. with 8 gram additional screw on weights

Viper 13.5 geared 24/76
Losi gear diff 5000 wt. oil
Shorty battery up against mid motor motor guard
Viper ESC mounted on chassis in front of battery

Schumacher mini pins (yellow), Proline closed cell foams
Front tires have two rows of pins removed on inside and outside
Front sidewalls have layer of CA glue

As you can probably tell my setup is meant to reduce the over steer from the very aggressive mini pin fronts.
The truck feels very smooth but still needs a bit more work. Having front and rear antiroll bars will help with tuning

Also check out my blog for more carpet Setups

Has anyone tried the tekin gen2 motors? Looking to buy a new motor this week, I'm leaning towards the d3.5 17.5...

Gen2 motors are great. I just put one in my 22T to start playing with stock setups to help you guys out. Won the first night out with it. Great bottom and good top. A lot of ask for a NT stock motor in a truck. Almost no fade either which was great.

Working on my second body, what (in your opinion) are the best holes to cut out?

I am cutting all the them they do in the precut. That is basically all of them but the two in the rear fenders.

The rear fenders I won't cut this time. Those were the first spots to rip on the last body. There weren't any pre-cut bodies in stock, so I have to cut the holes out myself, and I absolutely hated it the first time.
