I run my battery all the way back so the foams are in front , I leave the paper on .

Anyone try running a shorty lipo in this truck ? I am changing over to a shorty in my 22 and 22T and curious about this truck .

It is good to know living in Australia that I can possibly get these new ball cups. I have had to send an email due to time differences and not being able to call international to see if I can get them.

I'm running a shorty pack in mine for the 17.5 class and love it. I did add the 2 brass weights on top the trans case.

Horizon has come out with brass weights that are specifically made for the 22sct. They come in mid motor config, or rear motor config. They screw into the chassis i think it is and you can go up by 1 gram increments. You could also just buy the ones that just stick to where you put them.

TLR has come out with weight kits for the entire 22 line , not just the 22SCT .

Mid motor

Rear motor
http://www.losipartshouse.com/servle...-Racing/Detail

Mid motor you can go 4 and 6 gram increments , rear is 7 .

All this info is available on the FIRST page of this thread .

I started with the kit set-up, except in mid motor, added weight in rear for looser track, and lowered antisquat as needed. try my set-up it for a med bite track, but its a starting point. its a couple pages back

Which R10? If it were me and considering Orion, I'd shoot for the R10 Race from a price/value perspective:

R10 Pro? Either the 1-2S or 2-3S are a pretty serious ESC! Awesome. Pricey. Do you need it? About $220.
R10 Race 90A. Sensored. About $160. Pro's little brother.
R10 Sport? Not sensored. I would get a sensored ESC for 2WD racing. 45amp. Probably not enough amperage. You probably want 60A for up to 8.5T motor, more for 6.5.
R10 SC? Not sensored.
R10S? 100. Sensored. About $135. A little big. Capable, but for 2W SCT I'd spend $30 more and get the R10 race.

I've beat this to death, but I'd get a Hobbywing - same guys that actually make Orion.

I'd recommend the Hobbywing V2.1 120A Xerun ESC, Xerun 8.5 SD motor and programming card combination deal (combo X5A) for $200:

To your door in about a week or less.

Use the rest of your $$ for tires.
