Finished my truck yesterday. Not so happy with it. Turning circle does not seem very tight, also broke my diff bolt so now everythig is on hold untill I get a new bolt.

I would start with this list from the Team Losi Racing Blog:

http://losiracing.blogspot.com/2012/...d-i-start.html

Keep in mind a few parts for the 22SCT maybe be a little different, like the hexes. We'll try to get a 22SCT specific blog entry done next week.

Motor: Orion VST Pro 6.5T is what I run, but you may want a spec motor? Not sure what you want to race.
ESC: Orion R10 Pro, regardless of classes. ORI65102

Thank!
Frank
Frank, what settings do you have on your Orion esc. I'm running an Orion r10 pro and VST 6.5 with 18/87 for gearing.

Sorry to hear your experience has not started off well. If you call HH PS or CS on Tuesday, they'll get a new diff screw out to you. As for the turning circle, are you getting full throw in both directions, to where the spindle bottoms out on the caster block? The 22 platform has the most steering throw of any of the cars we have measured, so there might just be something afoul in the radio setting.

I am running 16/86 for gearing, so you are up a couple of teeth from where I would suggest to start. I run 10% drag brake, 5 DRRS, Initial Brake = Drag Brake, 75% brake force (85% EPA/Travel, but this is really PP), Neutral Range @ 9, all with no turbo or boost. I also turn the timing of the most negative (clockwise) 1 line from the neutral tab.

I had one brake as well. Just called the LHS and ordered another one and had it in a couple days. I don't think it's a problem with the screw I think I got carried away or the plastic diff nut might have bound up. It's the only thread I didn't lube up.

Casper, in your opinion, how would you change dunfords setup to run on a low- medium traction track? I'm having an issues with my car over rotating off throttle. Currently running the stock blue front springs with the truck rear whites. 55 pistons f/r associated 30 front 27.5 rear. I realized I was running 2/b on the rear camber link instead of 1-d, I changed it, but I have not had a chance to run it. Also on his setup, when he refers to 1 or 2.5 spacers does he mean 1mm and 2.5mm respectively? I have not added the weight to the rear either :/
I have run it at 1-b now and it definitely seems better. I also put the front link to the 1 hole which has helped, but I would like just a touch more traction. Do you think adding weight would be my best solution?

First run on truck today went pretty well except for ball cups keep popping off, but I haven't dremeled the steering rack yet. Anyways the truck did seem a little bouncy I am running dunford's setup on indoor hard packed track was considering going to 35 weight shock oil front and rear to see if that helps settle the truck any thoughts.
