That spring chart is awesome weavty1. I have been working on a 22 family parts chart of every part in the 22 family and what fits what.
Haven’t finished yet but getting close.

How is everyone getting 25 degrees of front kick? As in what parts?

I think you can use the kick shims or pivot block from the 22 buggy or the 22T

Default Ball Cup Popping Off Solution!!!! Solved!!!!

Guys,
This has been going back and forth. Some say it is a problem some say no. This may all depend on the track you are running on. I ran at Dirtburners on Tuesday night in Detroit. This is a hard clay fast tight track. In practice before doing any of the mods I had to go searching for the complete turn buckle link because it popped of both sides. This was caused by clipping the inside of the tube in a high speed sweeper. Yes I should have not clipped the tube but I did. The truck did not flip over and I continued on and realized I had no steering. So I went to the pits and did the mod. This did help. It stopped the turn buckle link from popping off the rack but it did come off a couple times on the wheel side just like on the 22T. I finished second in the SCT mod A-main and was just very careful not to hit anything. So Wed I spend 6 hrs at the track testing and did have issues with the outside popping off under light impact. Below are the details and pictures. This allows complete steering motion with no binding at all. Yes it is exessive but this is all I could find after looking through all the parts in the hobby shop. I think with would be a great solution in a smaller scale. Another solution maybe just making the ball studs bigger in diameter. More surface area gives better strength.

2 SCTE Links from 4x4
4 Losi screws to go through the balls

Thanks guys, I ordered all of the stuff to do the kick adjustment, 5 degree caster as well as the rear threaded hinge pins/ front king pins, avid front truck springs and aluminum ball cups. Should be a fun saturday race. Girlfriend is out of town!

I used the 2 shorter ones. After setting the toe I think you can get away with using the longer ones also. I did not check this. The SCTE has 2 short links and 4 longer links.

FYI stock is 1k. Thanks for the help man, I'll give it a try tomorrow. The kit drove far from bad today, but I didn't even get two packs with it and all I've been driving is 1/10 th sedan and 1/8 nitro buggy. I can already tell it is leaps and bounds better than my old xxx sct, boy am I glad that thing is gone.
