depends on your system. i am running 22/84 in my XXX-SCT with a viper vtx10r and vst 17.5. i run about 32 to 38 degrees of boost depending on track conditions. the XXX-SCT (with the TLR kit or a CR transmission[ball diff]) has the same internal transmission as the 22 (2.43:1)

losa6044 is a captured ball cup for the losi 8b and 8t kits. The hole for the turn buckle will need to be opened up a little to fit and need 4/40 bolts 3/8in long with 4/40 lock nuts to attach to the rack and the spindle.

i also did this on my xxx sct. it worked good. i had a xxt that had some tappered (cone) shaped spacers that went under the captured flanged tie rod ball. this elimenated the binding, but changed the bump steer a little. but never poped a ball end again. i dont know if these use to be a losi part or not.. they were on the truck when i got it yrs ago. never tried to find any. maybe someone else knows about them...

It would be really fun building a kit for the first time in almost 10 years but I am glad I waited. With the new iPhone coming out and a payment coming up for the IRS, I can afford to wait for the first round of fixes and setups to come out. Keep working on it everyone!

I use the lundsford ball cups on my 22 Truck and Buggy. They seem to hold on a lot harder then the stock losi cups.

Here is the best pics I can come up with my mod to help with the ball cups poping off.
