That 1/8 main was one of the best I have seen. Most of the A main cars were very good. The final results came down to who made the least amount of mistakes.

Still can't beat a GT..with one-off machined parts and other non-stock items..

Oh, sorry.

Congratulations to Jared Tebo the robot (haha), for simply not making any mistakes. The kid drives like a man possessed and knows how to get the job done, wherever, whenever. He came from pretty far back to win the 1/8th scale race, which was tough to do on such a technical track.

I'm pretty happy with how the race went. We had some DIALED tire-stops halfway through the main event, and as always, Adam was competitive all 45 minutes for the win. We'll be ready for Silver State next month and give it another shot.

And again..words can't express how awesome the track crew was for turning a swamp into one of the best tracks we've seen in a long time.

One thing that was great with the RC10GT was they were as fast or faster than the rest with used tires at the end of the race. All the other teams changed tires and did not really make an impression as you can tell by the overall standings.

Hey Captain Bitter, those are called Prototype parts that will find there way onto the HobbyShop shelves for the average racer once the goeometry is right.

I think that it is a realy good testimate to the original design of the RC10GT (1995?) that a PROTOTYPE(one off?) part can be added to make the truck faster than a truck designed last year.

You would think that with all the technology that has passed since then that they could have found a way to create mechanical traction. So the average customer wouldn't have to change tires (another $30) 1/2 way through a main to try to be competitive with an RC10GT.

Faster at the end of the race? Maybe we were watching different races?

Prototype parts eventually make their way into production..still waiting?

I'll give Jared the benefit of the doubt anytime..he has continued to put himself up front and in the position to win everywhere we go. His truck looked great all weekend long and he got the job done. It's certainly not fair to say that the truck he has been beating us with lately is the same one a local racer can pull out of the box but I'll admit, it's pretty darn good.

Can't blame it on the kit itself..Losi won the Open class pretty handily, with way more cars in the main than all of the other teams combined, with the same trucks we were racing in the pro class.

No need to resort to name calling unless that's all you can back up your information with!

What the hell is a "testimate"?

Did you mean testicular estimate? I'll use it in a sentence:
"I'd be willing to bet that truck has balls."

Or did you mean "testament"?

Thanks. Just typed too quickly without looking back.

I wonder how the XXNT would have done?
