I have a core i3 win 10 hp 8 gb ram 2tb and could not get the game to run super smooth. was playable. could not get my spektrum to work properly either. throttle was reversed and when i switched it it would not work at all, spent like 2 hours messing with it and gave up. bummer.

I bought a Flysky FS--GT3b transmitter, around $30. Then a USB plug that fits directly to the transmitter. Just check Amazon for simulator cable.

I think the older, cheaper USB transmitter adapters that VRC used to sell are gone from ebay

You need a dedicated video card for better performance, can't help with the reverse issue though.

I had no issues with my DX5R. I also do sim racing and I had to make sure I didn't have my other USB devices enabled or it didn't pick up the adapter properly in VRC. I do other gaming from time to time and most other titles have the same problem.

Have you tried to reverse the throttle channel in the transmitter and then recalibrate the gaming device in Windows?

Anybody have trouble binding your rx once it's all hooked up? I've tried three different receivers and transmitters and it won't register anything. I can see the "Joystick" but I can't get them bound. They all work fine in my cars.

If the RX is already bound to the TX such that it works in a car then it is bound, no need to rebind it for VRC!

If the controller isn't working on VRC it is an issue after the RX, maybe reduce your systems transmission speed etc to the lowest settings and try again, the VRC adaptors aren't always able to deal with the "latest greatest" radios without turning off the "latest greatest" features.

You need to calibrate the VRC USB receiver first in the Windows control panel as a gaming device. Set all your EPA's to the max and calibrate the USB device. Then launch VRC Pro and it should work.

Would this work to have my Spektrum work with the game?


I had registered a loooooooooong time ago, cannot fin my old USB adapter, but is the Spektrum one works with my DX5r, then $40 well spent.

I think it will since VRC can be played with a gamepad with analog sticks as well.

FYI, VRC is discounted in the steam sales. I had the offroad pack, but I upgraded to an all inclusive life time license for 60 bucks. The base game is now 15 bucks, you for 75 bucks, you have a life time license with all available content.

I have never managed to find that option on the VRC website. Unless it is in the game which I never looked.

Steam is a platform for games .So it's no on the VRC Pro website or in the game itself.
