oople - From years of experience at national-championship level races..

..4wd should always be MUCH faster if set up and driven correctly.

harrogate indoor regional, 2 and 4wd, 2wd winning time by richard lowe was quicker than 4wd winning time

quickest average lap in qualifying i saw in a quick glance was by neil cragg, - 2wd. 0.05 quicker than the quickest 4wd i saw.

The 4wd winner was only 0.3 seconds a lap slower in the 2wd

Like i said, depends on the track as to how much of an advantage a 4wd is..

Wow. Are you sure the track wasn't changed for the different classes? Haha.

Stening - A lot of 4wd cars seem to push and don't carry a whole lot of corner speed. The faster 4wd cars change directions very quickly and don't have a whole lot of body roll, which makes them twitchy and hard to drive.

A car that is fast around the track isn't necessarily easy to drive.
