Default Charger and power supply question..

Hi i have the trakpower 25a power supply and protek 610 single charger and was wondering if the power supply could handle another charger charging at the same time. 2 chargers charging at 5a each charging both 4s lipos.. you think my power supply could handle that?

Volts for 4s = 16.8. So solving for amps is, amps = watts/volts.

300 Watts from your PS/15 volts (per manufacturer) = 20 amp ceiling. I don't think you are supposed to max out power supplies, but you are only looking to charge at 10 amps total between two batteries so your fine. From what I understand you want more power supply output than you need. I have a 35 amp 450 watt PS and a single 20 amp charger that I use for my 2s batteries and it doesn't break a sweat charging at 20 amps.

You will be more than fine if you set your PS for 13 or 14 volt output.

What lipos are you running?
