Shock weight oil/spring combo for slash 4x4 MT. For wheelies & bashing
So I just bought a SLASH 4x4 and plan to convert it to a MT with bigger wheels and tires. Probly either the pede talons or 2.8 proline badlands. It currently has a couple bent shock shafts so I am going to rebuild the shocks with new oil and the traxxas titanium nitrate shock shafts. I would like the slash vxl 4x4 to wheelie alot like the stampede even though it has a bit longer chassis. What would be the best weight shock oil and spring combo for this? Basically this is what I do:
Big Jumps
On road
Mix of offroad grass/dirt
I want to wheelie like a pede!

If you want to wheelie use stiff rear springs with a medium weight oil and a light spring up front with the lightest oil you can get or even no oil. It will be a wheelie machine. It'd be like 50/50 rear drag shocks and 90/10 front drag shocks....that's your best bet if you want to drag the rear bumper everywhere you go. You'll need traction too. I'm not sure how that's going to work for jumping but I don't think that you can really have both with a longer wheelbase.
