Default Need Help Building an Offroad Track

I am building a track and I need to know how to go about this, the track will be a huge 100 by 100 foot dirt track. I would like to get a track design or some tips on building an offroad track if anybody could help me. Oh, and the track will be open to the weather all year round if that affects anything.

I dont understand what you need help with... You need help building the track of coarse! I thought about doing the same thing in my backyard since it's a 3 acre field and already has a driver's stand. I got the prices for the clay & all the measurements for each peice of PVC pipe.

if you have a 100 x 100 surface to work with, one thing you need to keep in mind is when your car gets 100 feet away from you looking forward you will have a very hard time driving it. instead if you could go wider like 120 x 60 you will have a much more driver freindly track. i wouldnt reccomend going more than 60 feet deep. standard lane width for 1/10 scale is 8 to 10 feet and 10 to 12 for 1/8 scale. dont make your lanes too wide or it will take away some of the skill involved.

We are currently constructing an off-road 1:8 race track (out door).
I wanted to ask you if you know of any soil stabilizers or chemicals people use on off-road tracks? I wouldn't mind if the track beacame blue groove.
