Default which rtr sc?

Trying to decide between the losi 10 4x4 or the associate sc10 4x4 both ready to run, what are the pro's and con's of each? Have driven both at the track I am racing at which is a hardpack with loam on top, but I dont think either of those were a rtr (know the losi wasn't for sure).

Thumbs up

i have the sc10 4x4 and have had no problems with it yet, but if you need to take it apart to get to something, you will be taking out A LOT of nuts and bolts, but the main thing is, is that whatever your local hobby shop provides more parts for get that, there is a endless supply of associated parts where i race so a lot of people run an associated, but if you can get losi parts easier than associated parts, go with the losi (both trucks are very little handling difference if you ask me)

Actually , both are decent. Really depends on what style of track u will run on. However , both are solid platforms.

Ya the losi I drove had way too much motor for the track, I could out run it with the associated that was way slower easily. The losi did seem to jump weird but it might have been just too much motor for the setup, it was fast as hell though!

Indoor...outdoor....large...small layout ? Both are good but.look at their heritage. Obv the losi looks like an 1/8 th scale and the ae uses tc tech. Where do u think each will accel ?

Man i have to say the SCTE 4x4 rtr for sure ! Not to mention is a snap to work on and setup pretty much.

The stock setup on it is ok to run on a carpet indoor offroad track .

Losi because it's large and outdoor.

Does the AE even come in RTR?

can't link it here because I don't have enough posts yet, but they seem to be pretty comparable as rtr just the AE tires don't look like they would be much good for anything

The sc10 is more for indoors typically of agility it has in tight technical tracks, but can be ran outside with the right setup,The losi naturally will do better in any off-road condition as it is basically an 8th scale buggy with a body on it.If your racing outdoors which it looks like you are than i would reccomend the losi hands down as it is awesome on the outdoor tracks

The stock tires on the SCTE work better for sure even on dry dirt there ok than the SC10 4X4 RTR tires.

But the SC10 4x4 rtr is good for indoor tracks but the SCTE is not half bad on it ethier.
