i have the reedy 60c batteries, with the bullet connectors, dont like the plug because current could be lost with the transfer, hardwire to speed control if possible

I have a MaxAmps pack for races for each car. The are expensive, but worth the money IMO to have as a race pack. They always balance perfectly, have never puffed and they come with a lifetime warranty. If you get some, I recommend buying them from Maxamps.com directly as they will build you a pack to order with the freshest cells they have on hand. They can also customize connectors, etc. They're service is top notch, you always get a knowledgeable human being to talk to (no automated prompts).

The MaxAmps has been 2S 150C 6500mah has been a bit of over kill for 2wd expert buggy (as far as power) but I do enjoy the additional weight of the battery for handling characteristics.

On 1/8 e-Buggy the MaxAmps 4S 150C 6500mah has been amazing. It supplies all the power a 1/8 buggy needs and the batteries have never puffed, unlike all my 4S GensAce.

On the cheaper end I feel nanotechs have an edge on GensAce for 2S. On 4S I wouldn't buy another GensAce, I'm going to give Nanotech 4S 65C a try as practice batteries.

I have three 45c nano-Tech soft packs from the US warehouse that I have been using. very good run times and they barely get warm. I think they cost me maybe $35 each with shipping. I also just got two 65c 6000mah hard case packs from the US warehouse for $45 each shipped. if the hard case ones run anything like the soft packs, I'll be very happy.

Iīm buying one G6 Pro Race 5300mAh 65C 4S battery.
Can I always charge this battery with 20A of charge?
It will not decrease the life time of the battery?
I would like to charge this battery at the field, I use in my 1/8 car.

Charge with 20A itīs the same lifetime if I charge with 5A or 10A?

Venom and Reedy.

Have had venom packs make it to 500 cycles before they don't balance. 2 years later the 5000mAh packs are still charging to 4600.

Plus a 1 year replacement warranty is great. Currently using 50c 5000 packs, and they rock.

I had 2 Venom 5000 30c go bad on me. One of them had ~30 charges, the other maybe 20 charges....... always balance charged them and used storage mode when not in use for a couple days.

Maxamps IMHO are the most overrated battery on the market. First of all they use the "burst" rate as their discharge rating, secondly I've seen tests done with them against much less costly batteries and they came in dead last on every test.

I wont' even think of trying Maxamps and Venom is off my list due to 2 bad experiences.

Hi guys,

I always finish the run and put the battery to charge.
But the factory of TP said to wait 30 min for cool down the battery.
I donīt have much batterys to wait they cool down.
Do you do this with yours?
I will lose much life time donīt waiting?

Thanks!
