yeah, pretty annoying actually. in reality, it just delayed my plans to buy anything tekno related as there is a possibility they're coming out with something different/better than what i was going to buy.

Hey guys, I thought I should finally start coming on here and helping out. Let me know if you have any questions and I'll try to answer them as best I can

I've seen a few people wanting to try the Kyosho orange rear springs, but not being able to find them anywhere. If you want to try something else before they get back in stock, give the Kyosho dark green rear springs a shot. They're slightly softer than the oranges, but will still give you a similar feel. You might even like the more if you run on a loose track.

If anyone wants to give their EB48 more rear end traction and more stability, try my setup on the Tekno website.

I also want to let you guys know about the Memorial Day sale that A Main Hobbies is having this weekend. It already started and goes through Monday at 11:59 P.M. PST. It's 10% off orders over $100, plus free shipping on orders over $25. If you missed out on their Tekno sale a few days ago, here's your second chance! I would post the link if I could, but I'm not allowed to since I don't have enough posts yet...

I'll try to keep up on everything in this thread.

They are there....right next to the window on the motor side, you just have to stare long enough lol!

Hey Curtis, I'm looking for more on power steering, mid corner to corner exit. I'm basically running the stock setup with tekno red springs in the rear.

So I have my eb48 running pretty well. I put Door's setup on it and like it, but there still seems to be something off about how this car drives. Don't get me wrong, I love it, but when watching the car go down the straight, the rear seems really stiff. It doesn't squat at all, even with 1 deg of antisquat. The rear doesn't seem to square up ad much as I would like it to, which forces me to drive on edge and less aggressively than I would like......

No problem! The K springs jump and land better I think. My car doesn't bottom out as much with them. Plus I know what I'm dealing with when I use the K springs since I run Kyosho nitro 8th scales. You can get away with the Tekno springs though. If I I could get the full list of all the Tekno springs with the wire thickness and amount of coils, I would be able to tell you which ones are closest to the Kyoshos.

The tracks I run on are all hard packed, a little bumpy, and can be loamy at times. What is your car doing wrong right now?

Try adding more caster if you can. Is the rear end really locked in when you get on the throttle?

I noticed the same thing with the rear not squatting very much on power, so I added more front droop (start with 1mm) and it definitely helped transfer more weight to the rear.
