Tekno RC EB48 Thread
#6647
Hey Tekno crew... I'm sure you did some testing on left right balance with different sized batteries. What size/weight batteries give the best balance?
I'm currently running the Reedy wolfpack 3700 mah. Lrp ix8 with a dynamic 8 motor.

those ugly body made by jsconcept that looks like the rc8 new bodies is truely let me hate the look of nay 1/8 scale buggy.
the best body made is the bod of the dex408 and i wish if any after market manufacturer will make a body similar to it for the eb48.

Swaybars
Can someone please explain the effect of swaybars on rear traction? I've gotten the suspension where I like it for the bumps and jumps. Removed antisquat, max rear toe, and rear camber at 1*. Also removed rear brace. Car is more planted than stock. I purchased all of the swaybars and want to tune with them now. Seems the threads I'm reading have opposing info, so I'm asking you guys. Thanks in advance.

The cab forward design is an acquired taste. I had one on my 8ight and it handled low traction tracks better.

I'll leave the sway bars for some of these suspension guys, They do a great job at explaining even if they do hate typing
I like the Finnisher but the Tekno body is slick. Tekno should do an SCT body...

From what I have seen they use the same description for all of the Finnisher bodies.
I read the blog post and says the body has increased clearance in the servo area. That would be a plus in my book as the stock buddy seems to rub slightly in that area with the nut on top of the arm, even with a shorter screw.
