That pretty much covers all the plastics and turnbuckles in the suspension. To be honest, it's more like a rebuild kit. I'm hoping that I won't need any of it.

Yeah, The only thing I broke so far was an arm. Unfortunately it took out the hinge pin and the insert. Im pretty sure im not supposed to hit the light pole coming off a tripple. Sad part is, I did it on my 1st lap with it when it was brand new. I havent broken anything since. I normally do not crash much. I was trying to get a feel for the car and wound up getting a feel for the light pole.

It's been awhile and I'm sure there are other sub forums where this is discussed, but for those who have this eb48, what Lipos are you using, I'm going to be running a RX8 w/ Tekin 1900kv, looking for a good 4S, so i'm curious what everyone else is using.

same motor and esc w/ thunder power 5300mah 65c 4s........bit expensive but awesome. running 18 tooth pinion with 80% current limit. coming off of 10 min main around 170-175 degrees. im sure once i start learning it and driving harder ill need to take limit down a bit. maybe to 74-76%. i like seeing my motor around 160-175ish. tekin doesnt like seeing their motors above 180. i will say watch how long you practice tho....i wouldnt go over 10 min cuz ive seen my motor get pretty hot after 12-15 min. if your mains are longer then 10min then obviously turn limit down or gear accordingly......im just a rookie that reads alot of forums etc to learn more.... and thats my 2 cents

to be honest I don't think I have gotten any of Tekins 1/8 motors in buggy over 160. But I use the gear to the longest straight method, low as possible timing settings, etc.

Quick question.

Step J1 - the rubber o-ring gets squeezed out every time i tighten the servo saver. Is this common? Can i run it without the o-ring?

The o-ring should be inside the groove of the adjustment nut and shouldn't squeeze out.

And how tight should the center diff be before it's broken in? Turnable with some major effort?

it also feels as if their is some wobble in the center diff, like the hole for the bearing/shims is not square.

This was the smoothest build I ever done. Every thing fit perfect and the quality is top notch. Its clear there was a lot of thought put into this buggy.
