You will be so much happier with a single battery. Lighter, easier to charge, less wire, easier to install and take out of the car...

The spur is a composite nylon material. Delrin is usually used if the gears are machined as opposed molded.

I think we'll stick with the natural for now, we can always make them in black later.

Any prelim info on pricing as far as the spur gears go?

Also, how have the a-arms been holding up, any weird bending / warping? (coming from an SC104x4 background here with that question)
I posted before about the arms, but we tested almost a dozen different composites. What we settled should not warp or bend like some of the other arms out there.

Ditto, they rock. The factory body will be our design, but FTW is on the list to receive a test kit for aftermarket production.

It should be well before Supernats. We'll get more specific as we get closer.

Tell me the body won't be a Buglydog front cab one.. This buggy looks so sweet it deserves some curves and elegance, not a body molded on a square

We have the prices for Europe now, S. Wartelle which is one of the biggest shop and best driver around here told us about 490 to 520€. Not cheap but the buggy looks great.

I'm not sure if this has been asked yet, but what is the max battery height before it touches the body?

We haven't measured precisely, but it should be just over 50mm height clearance.
