I'm not trying to single you out but, please lengthen and flip your motor wires around. In a event of the ESC coming lose from the servo tape you'll end up pulling the tabs right off the plastic base on the motor or break loose one of the solder post on the ESC.. Short wires oriented in that fashion are the leading cause of most Tekin failures I've seen in person

I'll post a photo of my car in a few hours when I get to the track.

No problem, thanks for the input. I've heard about the failures on the Rx8 forum, but didn't think much about it when I soldered this one up. I'll probably redo it in the next few weeks.

If you plan on sticking with savox servos make sure it has harden steel gears the model should be ***SG, for example, I've owned 6 SC-1268SG servos over the last 2-3 years and not one of them has failed.

stay away from the models ending in xxxxTG or xxxxMG

Do you run your SC-1268SG at 7.4V? If so, BEC, or ESC only?

Thanks,

Default E truggy

Last year I had a great time racing my v4 d8 and my v4 d8t. Loving the eb48 sure would like to see Tekno build a E truggy (my favorite class), like a eb48-T! By the way I'm loving the way my eb handles, kit went together without any problems, zero leaks just a great kit. Now what am I going to do with my v4 d8, it's tough as hell and goes like stink. I hear a lot of guys wanting Tekno to build a sc truck, I think the big seller would be a kit to turn the v4 buggy into a sc truck. Body mounts, some way to mount sc bumpers, shorter arms etc.
