The nice thing about the SC-R SP is that it is a pure race truck out of the box, there's no upgrading and buying tuning kit's, your not swapping to another manufacturers shocks etc. Fit and finish is second to none, you'll pay a little more up front but it was well worth it to me. As far as part's availability I don't even use that as a factor for the simple fact that unless your lawn darting it every lap you don't need a bunch of spares because it's built from quality materials to start with...Great now I'm going to break a part on mine at the next race

I'm saying top guys against top guys you can see the Kyosho corner speed over the other trucks.

That would be dumb to say a top driver makes it faster than slow drivers in other trucks.....

These posts always get silly. Race what your friends or majority at your track has. I don't think I've ever seen a hobby shop without sc10 parts. The FT is great out of the box and you'll have someone to ask for help who owns one at pretty much every track. I'm not sure what truck was mentioned that needs a bunch of other manufacturer parts.. its not the sc10
