the revo is race ready right out of the box, and the savage is backyard bash ready out of the box.

After seeing some of the problems that the LST guys are having I'm not sure I would get an LST..Problems:Tranny top shaft breaking, rear diff housing cracking/breaking.You guys need to read..RACING,if your track does not split the classes a truggy is going to win most of the time,I know you guys are going to tell me that their is someone/you at your local race track that puts it to the truggys.. all i can say is the truggy driver must not be a very good driver.. Traxxas top driver,Sladen does not race his Revo in the unlimitted class with the truggys,He would most likley beat me with his Revo and me driving my truggy,Why.. He's a better driver.. Just an opinion.. if your going to race a truggy is the best way to go.

For regular MT class the revo is the truck to race. They do great around here. The lst has to many problems and a high price tag to go with them. The hot bodies lightning is an awesome truck, but again around here they are separating the MT class and making a unlimited class. Which will be for truggies, and I'm betting the lightning will have to go there also. Couple different ways they make the rules. But again from the trucks I've seen the revo is great.

Alot of people overlook the Tamiya TNX...if your looking to race SB monster truck, than this is definately the dominate truck.
