Default Help with Hobbywing boost settings pls

Helllo,

I have a Xerun 120amp esc running 930 mod software
SC10 2WD
2s lipo
9.5T Reedy Sonic at Factory 20 mark for timing
18/84 gearing (AE recomended for 9.5T for a sc10)

Does anyone have any experience running this software boosted with simlar motor?

What boost and turbo should be a safe maximum?

Its running real cold now at 5 deg boost and 5 turbo

Not sure how much you would really need to boost a 9.5 but I would not run any turbo with that setup. I run that same esc but run zero boost at most tracks. I have added a little on larger outdoor track but was minimal. As far as gearing, I would start with 21/87 and zero boost. Then add a little boost if needed, just make sure to monitor temps. The gearing listed on the AE site is a very conservative starting point.

Boost and Turbo are not meant for nor reccomended in Most Mod motor setups. If your needing more speed you should buy a hotter motor. but If you want to, Just keep adding boost while checking temps, Theres no right and wrong setup, as long as your system is still running within proper temps.

No boost - 75/26-28 gearing
Boost - 75-24-25... Im not sure how boost is on that controller but I would start at like 20 boost at 5000-17000rpm

323 stock software is great in 17.5 boosted applications. There's slot of adjustments to make your stuff haul but and keeps your temps down as well
