That is a XXX4, and I'm sure you can still get them on Ebay, but no idea if get it new.

SoccerSting 03-16-2012 02:31 PM

Losi still sells them and it is a xxx-4. Those shocks aren't the ones that come on it. Those are the new ones from the 22.

you can still get them new on amainhobbies.com but pretty expensive for a buggy not setup for li-po or brushless really  you should get a b44.1 instead much better for the same price basically, nevermind it looks like they got rid of the xxx-4 g+ from there site

true that just staying with the b44.1 till TLR comes out with a better 4WD  Because on their website they took the 4WD out that means something maybe ;)

So shouldn't be buying, you still have to modify for lipo right and it's old ^^

FYI, the B44 design pre-dates brushless and lipo too. It took them a while to figure out how to make them run well after losing 30% of the battery weight, I think adding ballast is still common in B44 setups. Remember, lipo saddle packs had to be made to fit cars like that.

Maybe not worlds but the XXX4 is still up front. I think 6 of 10 cars in the A-main at 2010 nats were XXX4's, on an outdoor track no less.

It's still very quick but it needs mods that require parts that aren't made any more (steering rack mod) and shares almost no parts with any of the other Losi cars.
