Traxxas Rustler Help Needed!!!
Okay, so I got a Traxxas Rustler from a friend about a week ago. He bought a velineon 3500 motor and VXL-3s ESC for it. I was able to run for about 3 days, about 2 hours each day, but today it wouldn't work. I could still control the steering, but the back wheels would not work. I tried to fix it, cleaned the motor up, cleaned the gears, but still the same thing. Does anyone know what is wrong with it? I need help with it or I will have basically given my friend $250.

I have a 4200 MAh NiMH battery Pack in it.

It happens all the time w/ the vxls-3 esc, just go thru the programming esc setup steps and it will work again. And make sure the button on the esc is not stuck down. I always pull the button up with my fingernails ever time I push it down. |
