Default Upgrade sc10 from 2wd to 4wd?

How hard would it be labor wise and price wise to go from the team associated sc102wd to the team associated sc10 4wd?

It would cost far more than a complete sc10 4x4

They are completely different platforms with no shared parts. You can't upgrade.

One could buy an SC10 4x4 and convert it to 2wd by removing the front drive train.

Yup, your best bet is probably to sell the 2wd and purchase a 4wd.

Take body off truck. Roll out 2wd truck. Roll in 4wd truck. Replace body.

Sorry, couldn't resist. But the trucks are entirely different other than body and tires.

There would be an outside chance to convert with all sorts of modifying to 4wd, but you would spend 2x the money doing so.

lmao! Well I'm looking at purchasing one. I have the money for the 2wd that's why i was wondering about upgrading later. I will probably just wait. I want to go brushless anyways. I have been reading forums and that seems to be the way to go.
