Default Battery Suggestions

I'm basically a newbie to new electric RC technology, the last one I owned was 15+ years ago so I need some help picking out a battery or batteries that will work well with my set-up. I want to buy a lipo battery or two to get started but need some help.

I am building the following set-up...

RC8.2e
Tekin T8 2250kV Motor
Tekin RX8 ESC
Hitec 7955TG Servo

I'm looking for something that will give me a good balance between run-time and speed. I'm not racing this buggy, just messing around for now.

So can anyone help me with this new (to me) battery technology?

The mah on the battery will determine your run time.
Just make sure your setup does not over stress the battery.

Check through the manual of both the motor and esc to add up
the total current draw, it must not be more than what the battery can handle.

example:

5000 mah 25c = 5000 * 25 / 1000 = 125A max current draw.
Not all C ratings are reliable, but in a perfect world the above mentioned
would be true.

Hope this helps.

Oh and also a couple of things you might need to know is the higher the mah the longer it will run but the heavier it is. Dont make too high otherwise the stress from the long time of it running could overheat the motor and ESC.

Recommend a 4S lipo of around 5000mAh capacity. (4S nominal voltage of 14.8)

P.S. And around 35C or higher.
