Ok, ok, I'm gonna pick up a 411. This will be my first sensored brushless motor, I haven't really had issues with sensorless yet. Smoove here I come!!! Now if it would only smooth out my driving.......

I have a 4000kv with about 2 packs on it if anyone is looking. Nothing wrong with it, never over 160'ish (temp).

Are the motors the same but one just has a sensor board?
If the sensor lead was removed or damaged I would just have a 401 until I plugged it back in and it would be a 411 again or are they built differently to accommodate the different characteristics of each design?
Cheers

How do you remove the motor wires? I want to use my esc wires and direct solder to the motor tabs instead of having to add plugs to both the esc and motor. Is that possible? That's probably the only thing holding me back from getting a tenshock.

When new the wires are pretty long, trim to fit your application and have the wires direct to the esc. The one I'm selling I trimmed the wires to fit perfect in a SCTE for example and ran the wires direct to the poles on the esc.

Can anyone give me a quick explination on how to replace the motor wires? I opened the back cap and see this glue-like stuff on the wires attaching them to the coils. What's next?

You cant "replace" the motor wires as they are part of the windings .

Depends on the what Kv motor is in it and what voltage you run the truck at .
