The most important thing is to get a radio that is comfortable for you, not one that just looks cool or has this or that function on it. I feel a radio equates to the drivers seat for real car racers, they have seats formed to their bodies/comfort so that their mind isn't distracted while racing b/c they opted to get a seat that just looked cool or had a cup holder or something in it. Odds are the only functions that will get used are trim, steering balance, and end points, those are the only ones I use.

Amen.

I have an M8, but I've used tennis grip wrap and a wider steering wheel to make it more comfortable for ME.

I have a JR XS3. I really do like it but I tried an M8 and I went and found one and bought it soon after. For me it's really comfortable. I like having the wheel at about the same level as the trigger. It feels more natural.

It really is personal preference though. It's almost the same as the boxers or briefs question.

And I use alot more features with the M8 than I ever did with my XS3. There really isn't much on the M8 that I don't use. Except the timers and stuff. That's what I have a pit guy for.

If i did get a new M8 i would not get the synthesized one,the Novak modules and recievers are ok,but the Airtronics ones seem to have alot of glitching problems.Their is better technology out their..for less money.I would get the M8 BL without the receiver, part# 90290FM75 And then just buy the Spectrum DSM,It's still cheaper to buy this than the Synthesized M8.

I am very interested to see a Spektrum actually work. It's fine when you have 6 guys runningthem at a race but what happens when there's 100. Time will tell. Great idea but I'm still a little hesitant to get one.
