You can use the front 12mm hex from the Schumacher K1 Aero,
And a few pages back someone found a body that fits well also.
I like my DEST210, but there arent many other stadium trucks in my area to kompare it with.

Sumo Racing makes a front rear skid plate to strengthen the front and rear of the chassis. I paid 18.99 for them as a set.

Well I guess that answers some questions. The DEST210R is no longer listed on Durango's website and the RTR is shown as no longer manufactured. Either the v2 is on the way, which I personally doubt, or the ST has been discontinued outright.

It's under discontinued now. I guess its good that they finally did something, even if it was to discontinue the truck instead of leaving it in limbo.

That's too bad. I am quite fond of mine and I like keeping everything to one line of vehicles.

OK fellow DEST210 owners, after some searching and fitting I have found the body that best fits this truck since the stock body is nowhere to be found.
I hope these upload. The front mount must be re-drilled higher on the tower so it sits against the shock mount screws when the shocks are on the inner most holes on top. The rear needs no mod.

Check out EXOTEK description under their new mid motor bulkhead for the 210 line ....
It read DESC210v1,v2 ( same for DEST). And v3 for the DEX. They seem to have a good relationship with Durango, so let's hope something is coming soon!!

I just did something similar with the bulldog body by proline. The jconcepts looks like the rear fits much better though. I had to take the heat gun to mine to make room for the rear tower and shocks, but the front fit great!! I will try and post pics later.

If a mold of the original body that was produced for the kit, how much of an interest for it would there be? Not wanting to make a profit but at least have a viable way for people that want a new body able to get it.

Default Check DESC

For a starting point I would look at Petitrc and look for a good DESC setup and then step down a spring or two and try and balance from there. I would think light red/ black rear and Bordeaux / orange front would be a good place to start. Go with gear diff in 7000 range for oil. Tires I have no idea. Check with guys that are fast down at the track. Hope this helps. Read up on the thread "tuning with camber links". Fred Swain has a to of good info there.
