I had one castle mmp fail, but i'm pretty sure it was my fault since a few weeks before, i hooked up a bec wrong (non-castle brand), and it just wouldn't drive right. All my other castle products have worked flawlessly, 2 in bash scenarios, and 1 in a race setting. Had problems running a brand new mmp in my tenshock equipped losi scte. Put a castle 10 amp bec on it and it has worked with no issues to this day. They're great esc's once you put an external bec on them. Some people have just had bad luck with castle, luckily i'm not one of them.
