After checking everything out on this truck, it seems like an ok design...removing the servo looks like it will be a PITA though. My gearbox was covered with oil when I first unboxed it...hope the diff didn't leak...I was planning on using the radio but the ergonomics suck....the trigger is too close and the wheel is too far away. I'm gonna tear open the gearbox and replace all electronics this weekend for sure.

The on off switch came off right awya with the tape. I zip tied it to the insdie of the frame. Ill be swapping in a tacon 4400kv 540 can, and a sidewinder sct esc this week.

There was no leak so far, you migth want to check the diff.

Check out the shock upgrade i did, well worth it, and you can find the crt .5 shocks on ebay really cheap.

Yea i whould get rid of the stock radio it really looks cheap, toyish . As for the diff leaking i bet the screws that are in the diff were lose and caused the leaking or theres no gasket seal. I think you can remove the top servo plate and the rx box right ? One thing i noticed while driving this truck was the shocks are set up somewhat stiff but it rolls into the corners a lot so it will need heavyer shock oil or diffrent springs i think .

Good find on those shocks....i was gonna use some blitz ese shocks but the fronts may be too long...seems the arrma fronts are more 'buggy' sized rather than truck sized. Comparing this chassis to my blitz, I'm not as thrilled as I was initially...we'll see how it drives this weekend.

It reminds me of the jamminc scrt10 shock setup, short lil guys in the front.

It seems to handle in the air better than other short course ive used maybe because there is no wide tub body... who knows... it just didnt seem to nose dive a lot, which is a plus for sct.

The RX is in a box to the back, looks like 3 - 4 screws. I haven't looked at the servo. Might look to upgrade that soon. I wish would find specs on the servo, it did a kg to oz conversion from what it said on the site and it sounds like 105oz... i wonder what the speed is...

Well i know the min torque for a servo on a 2wd sc is 100oz which is really not enough i say at least 110 oz or more of torque. With a speed of .11 but get a diginal servo theres a lot out on the market that are priced really good !

Yea this truck does jump good for sure for a 2wd sc i cant say that about a slash all i hear is Bam , Bam, Bam when landing Do you like all the roll this truck has in the corners though ?

Just from online reviews I've read, I'm ditching the stock servo asap...getting it out is gonna suck though...you have to take the entire front end off as the servo is sandwiched in between the two halves that make up the front end/servo mount. Still pissed about the radio...so i'll probably end up selling everything except for the chassis itself lol.

For electronics, I got a new 60a funky hot pink Bullistorm esc that's been sitting in my closet for weeks now...gonna pair that with a 3500kv tacon motor and a 2070 traxxas servo i have laying around. Should wake up this chassis and give me a feel for what it can really do. Gonna do the shocks next once I find a set on ebay. We should start an official thread...

I think the shocks will make a big diffrence ! The traxxas diginal servos are acutally not that bad other than the gears are plastic so you will rebuild them more. The motor and esc sounds like a good combo !

Lemme know how you like that kv, we went a bit higher, but i plan on gearing down. Its a 48pitch pinion so finding some smaller geared ones shouldn't be hard.

The shocks really help with the body roll that is for sure.

I can't change the main title but i can edit the sub title, might have to ask an op.

I update the 1st post with more pics of the car / features. Also started a list of the parts and specs.

I'm actually a big fan of Traxxas servos...good price/peformance ratio. We need a moderator to change the title i suppose.

Im going to see if this extra savox sevo will fit in the stock servos place, 222oz .15 or something... but its a "larger than standard" so it might now. I dont really bash in the wet so ill probably find a lower end airtronics, or jr servo for this car.
