B44 Gen Ace 6000MAH Battery Fitament issue.
Hello all, I bought a used b44 off of here about a month ago and just finished putting together. I have two issues. The Gens Ace 6000mah lipo batteries are so wide that it covers one of the holes on each battery for connection. This may be a stupid question but how are you getting around this? Also the battery posts arent nearly as tall. Does associated make taller posts or should i just put a spacers in? I dont believe the car has the lipo tray is this my solution to lining up the batteries? Thanks in advance.

My ProTek 5100 mah are tall and wide also. For the bullets under the top plate, I plug them in before putting the brace on. As for height, when I snapped a screw in one of the posts I ordered the FT blue posts. After installing them I found them to be to short for my packs. I bought my car used also and do not know what the previous owner used for the battery posts. They are definetly an AE product, just not sure if its something for the B44 that they dropped?

See if you can back the set screw out of the head you turn, they are/should be loc tight ed in. Heat with a lighter if you can't get them out. Also the 6000mah is to large for the car really. I run the gen's 4800's and 5200 reedy's no problem. I also plug in the inner wires first then install in the car. If you have to you can put a washer stack under the battery post if needed.

Hey guys, I bought a Gens ace battery for my B44 and had problems from day one. At first I thought it might be the electronics but I soon realized it was battery related. Turns out, the wires that come with the car were faulty. Has anyone ever had any type of trouble with Gens Ace batteries? I am getting ready to order another one, but kind of hesitating.
