I order batteries, brushless systems and other various stuff on a regular bassis. The trick is to go ahead and pay the rush shipping. Its worth it when you save so much on the products. I saved approx $350 the last time I ordered. I placed the order on a Friday, got it the next Tuesday.

Month long deliveries are due to one or both of two things. Chineese new year or slow shipping option.

Does anybody know if there are any plans on releasing a hardcase 4S version of the NanoTech's?

I've bought two 4S 5000mah Gen's Ace packs for my 1/8 buggy but I'm affraid this is too little to train and race comfortably... or is it enough? I have two chargers: 50W Hyperion and 200W ProTek charger.

Thumbs up

Overall - good experience with HK.

I've bought their Trackstar ESC and 550 mtr. Very pleased with this system. Too early to say anything on longevity.

I've bought their 100A ESC... very good. I've run 2 and 3 cell... works well.

I've bought the ridiculously cheap ESCs... not such good luck. But... I sent them back, with RMA, and was refunded. Very happy with how they handled my returns.

I've bought several (about 10) batteries. All work very well. No issues.

Customer Service... responsive.

Shipping from overseas... as expected... 4 - 6 weeks. Pricey shipping.

Over the course of around 8 orders... everything has went well.

I recommend HK.

When your doing you purchase, as long as you don't have too much weight 3-day ups shipping will be available. Just use that if you don't want to wait.

i had one battery pack took them 7 days to ship it.
but shipping came out of Singapore,so i guess it took awhile to get to Singapore.
but then they use swiss-post which has next to useless tracking.
but this happens every year as i have been buying from them for last 5 years

Still there worth a wait

Thanks to the new shipping laws our country placed lipos can not be express shipped unless ordering 13 or more . Not exactly why but what HK told me . Used to be able to express ship any amount previously .

Its going to be interesting to see how quickly mine gets packed, shipped, and delivered as I ordered (with shipping) $80 worth of connectors, wire, and lipo bags.

Kinda sad to see a $25 shipping bill for 2lbs worth of stuff, but 2 Lipo bags at $3 vs the $15 at the LHS pretty much covers the shipping.

<edit> Holy crap, ordered a dozen and a half sets of the EC5 connectors for about a buch each and saw they go for $7 a pop at AMain and as cheap as $3+ some other places. Guess shipping isnt that bad for what you save.

Good news, they have sent refund for the one item, and I now have Tracking info. Bad news, in all, we're talking about a month to actually receive an order. I guess in the big picture, I'll get over it. But for now and at least until I actually receive package I'll be

I've used Hobbyking for several years and have never had any complaint. Shipping to OZ has been quick, and their prices make you realise the hefty margins local suppliers are slapping on.
