Default Servo questions

Up until now I've been running stock servos in all my vehicles. I want to add some better servos to some of them but I'm not sure which ones will work with the electronics I'm running in them. Is there a way to tell by looking at specifications on each servo if they will work? Just looking for something a little better than stock that I don't have to add another power supply too. Looking at savox and hitec brands. Any help would be appreciated!

It all depends on the vehicle, which ones are you looking to upgrade?
Each class will need something different from a servo.
examples:
1/10th scale buggy (2wd or 4wd) you will want something fast <0.10 sec
1/10th scale truck (st or sct) you will want something with a lil more torque >130oz
1/8th scales will need a higher torque servo >175oz

Hitec servos are very good, so are JR, Orion, and Futaba. The Savox's from what I have heard are VERY power hungry which can cause glitching, they are noisey, but they are cheap.
What you choose is all up to you, but you may be surprised what you can find in the for sale section! I have bought and sold quite a few!

You Stampede's & Slash's servo's are fine assuming you have TRX 2075's in them. As is your Traxxas 1/16. The stocks have decent speed and torque and are digital. Your Mini Flux XS is a different story. I swapped mine before the first run. I like Hitec HS5646MG (about $40-$50) for there price and specs. Theres some great budget servos out there aswell.

*I havent personally used these, but many satisfied customers out there.

*I have owned several of these and there excellent! Can't beat this price either!
Search around both sites. Read reviews, specs, etc. I'll be glad to help anytime. PM me if youd like

I agree the stock hpi servos suck as does the one that came in the sc10 and ultima db. I'm fine with the 2075 from traxxas cept would like something stronger in the pede cause I added larger tires. The hitec 5646 sounds like a great servo but you could buy two 2075 for what it cost! Is digital that much better than analog if your only into bashing?
