slash 4x4 gearing?

I have run into a problem. I am using a tekin sc4x and a MMP, but the tekin motor uses 5mm pinions. I have a few from my 1/8's and I tried them but they almost seem there to big for the spur. What size pinions does the slash 4x4 spur use?
