Thanks Jeff. I am super pleased with my Desc210. I have driven them all and never been as fast as I was with my old AE truck. This truck compliments my style... do you have a Dex210 also?

As for the guy with anti-squat questions. I run 3/3 every surface rear motor. The track I ran on last night was dry dusty type. Ill post a setup in a few. I see that your asking gear diff questions, are you running one in your truck that has the issue? I've gone back and fourth with a ball diff vs gear diff, and every time I favor the ball diff. Its faster on all track types. I haven't rebuilt my ball diff since I built my truck in February, for Motorama. I have put the BFast kit in on the initial build, & its still super smooth. If you need more setup help, try and post a complete setup so we can figure your truck out for you.

The front shock springs seem to be too short. If I lower the ride height to where I want it then the springs are disengaged from the cups at full droop. This is causing my car to get really bouncy down the straight.

Do I have the wrong springs on or is everyone else noticing this too?

I limit the front droop to take up the slack. Indoors I run a pretty low ride height with less droop so it works great there. Outdoors I've been running a higher ride height, preloading the spring more and allowing more droop without the spring being "free" as you're describing.

Thanks, I thought about the droop so I will give that a try. I wasn't sure of that b/c I'm running mm4 and didn't want to loose any rear grip. Could I use longer rear springs on the front (are they longer on the rear)?

You can use longer springs- Losi has some BB springs for their trucks and maybe Kyosho as well. The issue you may run into is finding one that is firm enough. I've yet to try anything softer than the softest spring in the "Hard" series of springs. If you're using softer springs though it should be a pretty easy fix for you.

Same here with both the stock and mod trucks. have been playing with stuff and the lightest "yellow" was ok but went to the light brown and was a lot better for the trucks as of late. Actually quite surprised by this on our "not as high of traction as leisure hours" track, haha

I just got one of these trucks and noticed the same thing.even at 31mm ridehight at the chassis at full droop I have at least a 7mm gap between the spring and cup.my question is are people measuring at the chassis or the lowest part of the arm.seems very possible to lose the spring cup with that much gap.

What are the dimensions of the battery tray? I've bought one and want to ensure my batteries on hand will fit. For some reason my work computer will not open the PDF of the manual.

I was concerned about that too. I'm going to try some longer springs in a bit.

I just tried the dex210 blue rear springs. They are a little on the long side but w/ a softer spring I think they could work. I'll try the desc rear springs next.

The DEX210/DESC210/DEST210/DEX410 springs are all the same. Not sure about the DESC410.

Cush ran 85/18 with the TrakPower 8.5, mild boost. With no boost and stock spur I'd probably start at 20-21.

It will fit all standard hardcase packs.
