I would suggest going with the aluminum rears from jconcept, durable and wont strip like the plastic ones tend to eventually do over time.

Nice setup, how big is your track that your running on? How long is the straight and is it clay/carpet?

Im in syracuse ny

For those bigger tracks with the long straights, that gearing is good, you obviously need to check your temps to make sure your not going over 160. But for a smaller track, I would start off around 81-84 for your spur and 19 pinion.

My local track is a small indoor clay track, I run 81/21 and it has worked the best so far, the other day just having fun on an open track day, I put a 75/25 in and it wasnt too bad, it just wasnt cutting out to my setup before that. I run a tekin rs and tekin redline 17.5, tonight I will be at the track for racing and will be trying a murfdogg 17.5 and see how that goes.

i recently put together a sc10 ft and before i even ran it put the avid rear hex on and proline protrack beadlocks on it. and within 30 minutes of driving blew out 2 sets of rear huib bearings. is that somthing to do with my setup and would the b44 hubs fix the problem or has anyone else had the problem.

B44 have a larger outer bearing. It will fix that you can still run the same hex in rear

The bigger bearing the B44 hubs would probably help, I run the aluminum B44 hubs on my B4.1 Worlds Car and my FT SC10

yes....off set is very confusing. I have a SC10 with the AE plastic hex conversion (already ordered the AE alum one but take forever to ship)...now, I need to get a set of PREMOUNT tires...eying the Jconcept BARCODE...but I know for sure the set for the SC10 (from Jconcepts) are the bearing and pins version.

If I need to buy Jconcepts premount barcode tires, using on the AE style hex, which one I should get..? I was told...on the front I need to buy the SLASH version and on the rear I will buy the BLITZ version....please help.

You can order the premounts for an sc10 4x4 or 2wd slash fronts all around. I have the AKA wishbone premounts for an sc10 4x4 on my sc10 2wd.

The SC10 4x4 12mm hex wheels make it the proper width. You can use the kit wheels, or most racers go with the +3mm wide track wheels from AVID, JC, or PL.
