So im upgrading my Rc8 that i recently purchased used on Clist. So far i have done 8.2 Arms, Towers, Steel Standoffs, Sway bar, Mudguards, New body, and a couple other things i had to do to get it to work. So far im doing good on the upgrade. Still planing on atleast getting the A,B,C,D plates.

Did you have to change shock shafts, pistons, and springs? Also where the hinge pins the same or order ones from a 8.2?

The shocks where already rc8be upgraded ones so i had to do nothing to them they fit just fine. i did have to order the shock pin inserts for them since my old arms had hex screws that where to small.

The 8.2 front shock shafts ar 3mm shorter (so is the 8.2 towers) so that shockends can be used instead of steering link ends. The old RC8B thread has a lot of information regarding the upgrades and whats needed to go to the 8.2. I myself installed the worlds shock towers, which I have been told is the same geometry as the 8.2 towers just taller. I am going to stick with the worlds towers and slowly convert everything else to 8.2 spec. At this point I have to convert to the lighter drive train parts and I will be at 8.2 spec. Probably just in time for the 8.3 or 8.2b to come out. lol
