Default Electric needs?

I am wanting to build an electric RC car. But I am not sure what all is needed. Is there a list or You Tube video that explains what all I need.

Well it depends on the kit. At a minimum you need an esc, motor, receiver, transmitter, battey, servo, wheels/tires, and a chassis....

There is always the rookie zone

http://www.rctech.net/forum/rookie-zone-7/

But since your here... What are you wanting to do with it? Race it, at a track competing with other guys? Or bash it around in the back yard?

Bashing, do you have a lotta room? Big back yard or a small corner of the basement?

What kind of budget do you have in mind?

Theres a lot more questions but thats a good start for now.

Thanks for the Rookie Zone link. Guess I just overlooked it.

I am wanting to race at a track.

Kinda low budget to start off. Make sure this is what I want to do before I just jump in too deep. I have a Nitro already, but wanting to get into the electric scene. I have always had a interest in anything electric.

Thanks!
